BALTES BW TROPENSTIEFEL
Tropical boots, West German army. Baltes.
At first glance, the resemblance is striking with U.S. Army jungle boots.
Even the template is similar (ejem, have to brush them) in bright green.
The cloth has a filling, possibly with foam or similar. The sole design is not of type Panama.
The curious thing about these boots is that I have not seen any pictures of these boots in use. Could you show me some? I have intrigued with that uniform would be used.
Another thing that intrigues me is these numbers perforated. It seems clear that the first row refers to the size, 270mm long and 109mm wide, but the second row, I guess that the date will be around, but you can give some light on the subject?
270 109
1204 1192
Thanks in advance.
