I've been researching the Polish moro patterns over the last few years and decided to write up a short article as a reference.

My key findings over the last few years:

    1. Purple moro pattern used by Prison service that I discovered in about 2006.

    2. Confirmation that the Black Moro pattern was used by the Navy, Air Force and Air Defence Forces.

    3. Disentanglement of the three Police patterns: Blue, Blue Green and Grey moro. Differences between the Blue and Blue Green moro patterns I only discovered recently through research on Polish forums and comparison of examples.

    4. Recent discovery of the Brown Moro pattern. I have no information on which service used this pattern. The 3 examples of uniform pieces I have are constructed similar to MSW uniforms of the 1970s and 1980s. Buttons also indicate communist period use. I will document these uniforms soon. Interesting and unknown pattern.

*By discovery I don't mean that no one knew of their existance, especially in Poland, I just mean that I found this information out through research and comparison of items in my collection, especially the markings stamped in the uniforms.

    Martin.

That is awesome! Moro lives on! Looks like the Army green version? Is there a company actually selling this or is it a one off someone made?

You can contact Specops (they speak fluently English) and ask about details and availability, and yes, some Polish guys has gone completely crazy about that stuff Wink Old school never dies!

BTW... SPECOPS` CEO had spent almost half of his life in Oztralia Wink That`s why his nick is Kangur/Kangaroo.

Bummer that we have to register to view anything.

I have a hard time keeping track of all my passwords already.
