    French insignia

Post by ripcord on Mon May 06, 2013 11:14 am

    Hello Gary,

    Thanks for your comments,

The French badges are among my favorite insignia.

I found the group of leather backed badges in an Army Navy store around '84 and paid $50 for the group. That was not cheap then, but I am glad I was able
to acquire them when I did. The French SAS wings were purchased last year. They were pretty reasonable, at around $25.

French insignia is as beautiful and intricate as it is numerous Arrow.

Your most welcome rip, I totally agree they are very decorative pieces, and to my mind very collectable, sadly very much not suiting my wallet contents Laughing

    French insignia

    Hey all,

A couple more French insignia. Top one is " Haute Mountain " AKA Mountain Warefare, and the other is a Navy/Army Combat diver.

As you can see a crookedly positioned COMSUBIN beret badge sneaked into the photo...
