I picture I took over twenty years ago now .. I still have these, just buried deep amongst the other detritus that one accumulates in life ...
Most are made of medium-weight cotton drill with the bottom left vest being a heavier weight cotton material (almost denim). This vest also had some sort of official stamping and is the only one out of the lot that I would regard as 'army issue'. I have also seen this vest in use by Thai soldiers.
Earlier this year I had the opportunity to observe the Thai Army Shooting Team at AASAM 2010 (see 'Australia' section) and was most unimpressed with their webbing. Principally made up of either US or Thai-made version of the M-1956 or LC-1 US webbing system, some worn items were in a bad state of repair.
