4 part desert DPM , British camo but not British cut 3979f350070a3a9e64fc6bb3f5dd72be

Bought these tonight on eBay as a £9.99 buy now, airtex shirts, cotton pants and 2inch thick belt.

Now they don't look like the rest of the British deserts floating about , Iraq issue ????

Looks either qatari, or bahreini to me.
(the epaulettes and the belt loops are the indicators definitely middle eastern)
    Cheers

Yup, definitely Middle Eastern.  Unfortunately it's not so simple to figure out who used these specific pieces because many nations used them at various points and the cuts are often very similar.

The trousers have a very unique leg pocket design which I've not seen before.  That should be a good way to identify this one.  Both Bahrain and Kuwait had "washed out" looking DPM patterns.  This one, though, looks closer to LeBerge though the tailoring is completely different.

The shirt, however, looks to be Saudi.  I've got one that is nearly identical to this one.

To sum up my guesses... shirt is Saudi, trousers are Bahraini or possibly Kuwaiti.

The pleated pockets and shapes of the belt loops on the trousers look very Qatari to me. Compare it to my own:

No clue, as Middle Eastern militaria is not a strong area of focus for me, but I like it! Smile

I checked some pics I have.  There is a picture of an Airtex shirt that I scooped from someplace that was identified as Qatari.  That seems to add to the evidence that it's Qatari shirt.  I'm still not sure what to think of the trousers, but the leg pockets are definitely a great way to narrow things down.

well, one explanation about the pocket configuration is that a lot of this uniforms are taylor made, so the person could had just ordered a different pocket for his pants... I have a shirt identified as qatari in the same pattern coloration also airtex
