A few more bits from the collection, used during the 90's.  I need a rebreather to finish it off...

Agreed! I also have one of the MCT vests and it came so many bibs and bobs I might have to PM you to get some of them ID'd.

Cheers Lee, it's taken a lot of time and money to put it together, I still use the fins and dry suit occasionally for diving but one day I'd like to open a museum dedicated to old school UKSF.

As I unfortunately depend on Ebay for 99.9% of all my stuff, where on earth would you start looking for items like this?

    Amazing!!!

99% of this particular set of kit was bought from eBay,  only the magazines were from militaria dealers as they are banned from eBay.

The dry suit and dry bags were in need of extensive repair (probably why they were binned from service). The MCT vests were released via MOD disposal contractors in huge numbers a few years ago.  The radios have been released legitimately over the last few years (although GCHQ took them away from me for a while to remove the crypto fill....they watch ebay too). The suit inflation cylinders have a limited life and this one is a long way out of its hydrostatic test date so cannot be filled/used any more.

The knife was the issue one but I bought mine from the supplier as I use it in my work as a diver.

It's all out in the surplus market,  it just takes time (and money) to put it all together, it also helps if you know what you're looking for...
