ARRRGH KF shirts,  we were issued with 2 or 3 of these when I was in the army KF stands for khaki flannel but we called them shirts Hairy Mary they drove me mad with itching until they were worn in then they were quite comfy and warm.
pedro I dont think you shirt showing the lable is not from the 80's but the 60's or 70's or earlier as it has the size shown as SIZE 2. kit made in the 80's would have a metric size ie in my case 190/120 your shirt may have been issued in the early 80's but it was probaly made in the late 60's or early 70's.

Thanks for the insight! I think the ones made in the 60's were brownish so probably the shirt is from the 70's.

Yeh that is where the Khaki comes from in the KF shirt ours were deffo nato green but were sill known as KF shirts sounds better than Green Flannel Shirt or GF shirt. but a 70's KF shirt is still a good find.

The post war KF shirts started with the 48 pattern which was the first shirt to open all the way down , it had square pockets with centre pleat and a shorter tail, two years later
it was changed the tail was lengthened a pen pocket was added , pockets were made in the collar for stiffeners , the 64 pattern was change again mainly by having the tail
shortened, then  the 72 pattern  changed again a new softer material was used and the centre pleat was removed from the pocket this was the last pattern made in kaki flannel, the 76 pattern was  made in the same material as the 72 pattern but in green it was also the last flannel shirt. In 1988 the shirt was now made in a green drill  material, this was replaced by a shirt made in a man made material. I had the 76 patt to start with, it was a terrible  shirt to wear every chance I got I replaced it with a norgie . Hope this helps I have spares of some of these patterns if you need them.
