BANNED S. A. POLICE ITEMS

As a collector of SAP and SARP Task Force items I used to source these items from south Africa I have been informed that under the 1962 Heraldy act and the 1995 south
African Police Service act  it is an offence to purchase ,posses or trade in these items , one of my major suppliers has had all his stock ceased and destroyed he has told me
the police are enforcing  this with out fail .

Yes, that is correct. The SA Police service suddenly clamped down on all SAPolice \Service badges and uniforms for sale as they have a problem with people posing as police officers. Bid or buy, a SA auction site with thousands of badges for sale was apparently forced to delete all SA Police badges and uniforms for sale. The notice regarding this is still on their website.

Yes I did see that Bid or Buy had removed its police section , I have bought from this site in the past, it has made collecting these items harder .
