    Nice that's in good nick ive only seen a couple recently. Hallmark made the original Onward pack but these look like they were for aussie unlike the US ones we had or the later Korean/Asian made ones.

    Yep,its in mint condition.

    So you reckon it was made for the Australians and no for NZ use?

    I can confirm Aussies were issued this - can still find examples of these Hallmark ones around (as I did at our last local gun show). Immediately after this they manufactured them with fastex buckles and then went over to the Auscam versions.

    Holly necropost batman!!! Sorry to drag this up but the Broad Arrow is Aussie defence symbol and the 66 in the NSN is the country code for Aussie, so definitely made for Aussie use, just in good old NZ. At the time Hallmark had bee n making packs for the NZ Army. Not uncommon, Aussie had black boots made here before they went tan and my mum works at a air conditioner factory that has done AC units for the Aussie field hospitals.
