Just a guess, but it *looks* Czech. Find any crossed daggers on it?

As far as I know Czechs used Soviet style fake fur caps, not something like this.

To me it looks like Argentine from the Falklands War period:

Hard to see details, but it is a similar style at the very least. And the color is correct too.

These are Gurkhas wearing Argentine winter clothing found at an abandoned base.

    Thank you very much.
Sure it's Argentine style. but have very different details. as the lock buttons. Fleece inner. seams et al.
and the Argentine model is not original. is a copy of the German
then I thought that this hat is either a rare version of the Argentine or a model used by other country.

This is the classic winter hat model used by the Argentine army in 1982. You can see the differences.

Thanks for the photos! I figured you would be familiar with this sort of cap, but I did not want to assume.

I've never seen anything quite like this. The blue fake fur is typical of Soviet and, to a lesser extent, Eastern Bloc countries. But the design isn't something I'm familiar with, though it is based on a US design (which the Bundeswehr type is also). Also, yours has the remains of a cloth tag in it and most of the Soviet and Eastern Bloc countries use ink stamps.

The three distinct features of your hat are:

    1. Snaps
    2. Blue fake fur
    3. Loop of fake fur

    Steve
