    I have a 1950's Korean war US M1 helmet liner that is a bit unusual. The liner has the CAPAC and WESTINGHOUSE mold-in marks in the crown. The liner has both the CAPAC and Westinghouse mold-in marks in the crown. The front has the hole for attaching an insignia. The webbing is single herringbone twill in OD7. What is unusual are the rivets that secure the "A" washers to the liner. I've attached some photos. I've never seen a US M1 liner with this type of riveting.

    Have you ever seen a US M1 helmet liner with the A washers secured with this type of riveting?

    They look like bifrucated rivets,certainly not US issue,re lined maybe by a reenactor?
