Mraky para smock Empty Mraky para smock

Here is the para smock called "pestry kabatec" = colourful coat or "kamuflazka" = camouflage used by Czechoslovakia paratroops in early 50s.
There were two types of para smocks. The first one was in "sumpftarn" and the second one was in "mraky" pattern.
The smock has two chest pockets, two rear pockets and one small sleeve pocket. Note so called "beaver tail".

This is near the top of my top list of top things I want to get a hold of Very Happy Is there a date stamp on this one?

Panzerwerks has a parka in Mraky dated either 1958 or 1959 (stamp is difficult to read). Do you know if they made standard weight (not the sniper stuff) trousers and/or hats in Mraky?

Beautiful piece Pavel. Is that your own example?

I noticed that the "sumpf" pattern smock has a different design layout.

Steve, unfortunately all marking is washed out so I don´t know the date.
For this smock exist removeable hood. I have never heard about hats or trousers. Also in the book Výsadkáři a průzkumníci československé a české armády 1945-1999 you can find only the smock.

Raff, yes this is mine. Few years ago I sent you a pic of it, do you remember?

There is a big difference between mraky and sumpftarn pattern smock. The "sumpf" is the top of my top list of top things I want to get a hold of Wink

Thanks! OK, this means the only three confirmed items are:

    1. Para smock
    2. Detachable hood for para smock
    3. Coat (almost identical to Mlok and Jelici type)

Of course I am quite jealous that you have one of the two rarest Czech camouflage items Very Happy

I forgot the coat because I have seen it only once in the picture.

Steve, be sure that I will let you know when I find one for sell!
