thanks, it was a real find and was quite cheap by osprey standards and got it on one bid with no other bidders as it wasn't listed as peacoc but i prefer to source my kit off ebay as less compitition

eBay, cheaper with less competition? What section are you surfing? 
Every time I find something like this, others always seem to find it and bid the items sky high... or the seller has it listed at an already expensive price. It is always good to get lucky, as is your case here!

I think "off ebay" is being used in the sense of "away from ebay"....!

i've had a few few bargains over the years but my tactical aide memoires purchased for just 1p have to be the best bargains ive ever had, also knowing the right people tends to help as i know the boss of my local army surplus store quite well he lets me know if hes got any kit in and i tend to get first dibs on a lot of kit at a resonable price.
