    17 straps Empty 17 straps

Post by jose ramon Sun Mar 09, 2014 5:06 pm

Hello, I recently found this set of straps, 17 in total, some I can identify them, other, no idea, I leave the pictures in case I you can help, if you need more photos of any detail, do not hesitate to ask me:
    17 straps 12952366424_ecbf5984a4_c
This first group of 1 to 4. These seem the webbing from a English pattern 37 or a similar clone, perhaps Greek.

    17 straps 12952357804_95d8d23cbc_c
In this second group, 7 and 8, would be from the DDR, to hold the Zeltbahn or a marmite to the backpack.
9, looks like a strap from a type M1 helmet.
10, gives me the earmarks of being Belgian, the camo and plastic thermoforming, if I'm right.
    11, 37 Pattern Brace Attachment.
The rest of the group, no idea.

    17 straps 12952058843_6731a4b818_c
    The third group, no idea.
I hope that together, we can identify this 17 pieces.

    Thanks in advance.

#10 is definitely Belgian, but I do not recognize what it is used for. Straps like this are used on the LBV, large backpack, and other pieces of equipment, but I think they are always permanently attached. But maybe one of the straps can be removed. I don't remember.

Hi Jose, number 9 look's to me like a Belgium M51 chinstrap, these last type of chinstrap were worn on the shell prior to the issue of the Schuberth B826, M95 model. The attachment was a combination of the original M1 design and the M1 M73 model chinstrap, which is cool as it matches number 10 for it's Belgie connection.
