Hi there I bought a jacket of a boot sale today,  it's Gray leather with gray elasticated cuffs and collar, there is a German flag on each shoulder and the lining is bright orange. It's mint condition .i would put up some pictures but I haven't Sussed how to use this I pad yet. There it a tag inside one of the pockets it says. Paul schulze brakel. And a tag by the collar with a 6 printed on it . I guess this is a pilots or aircrew jacket. I paid a £1 for it. Cheers steve

You got yourself a sweet deal for a pound.

The square label with the manufacture's name on it should contain a date. Usually, anyway. This type of jacket has been standard issue for several decades.
