CS-06-PECOC PLCE CD1&2 Pouch Entrentching Tool (Shovel)

Found this entrenching tool pouch in the multi tone desert (PECOC) pattern.

Don't know if anybody out there has a set and is missing one of these, would be happy to trade!

Lee! I have literally just found a dpm one of these and i was about to share it, this was tucked away in our stores and i stumbled across it looking for something else!

Unfortunately i cant for the life if me upload the picture right now! I'll get them up when i can, along with some more interesting dpm pecoc bits i found in the stores...

i've just a few after thoughts, any ideas what 'CD1&2' describes? And how the hell did this end up in our stores! Its would've had to go through the issue chain at some point so there must be more out there somewhere, at the next opportunity i'll have a snoop around to see if we have any more and i'll ask the SQMS what he knows, not going to hold my breath though haha.

To be honest George I don't know, most of the clothing I have has the 'CD' coding etc on it, can only presume they are a 'Batch' code...

It's interesting as like you have mentioned, somebody, somewhere has some interesting items tucked away!! I was watching this Black UBAC tonight, item ref 161384894843 on eBay , it has the same test label as a lot of my PECOC items, so looks like they developed some possible Tantalus kit also as part of PECOC?

The webbing though, wonder if they broke down the DPM sets as they could be used with the standard sets or used as replacement pouches? The Hybrid pouches were a one off, could not be used by the regular units hence possibly slashed up like mine...

But don't you find it's interesting that they produced webbing in the 4 colour desert sample, does that mean they made a Windproof in that pattern, UBACS etc? They must have...I think they are samples out there which possibly nobody has seen I.e the Black UBAC...never thought PECOC would test black kit!!!
