Looks like a variant of the KGB border guard uniform. Though the pockets are different. Tom

Very nice fantasy item!  That's Russian VSR camouflage material fashioned into an old Soviet style field uniform (Mabutu).  I can't remember the date ranges, but it never looked exactly like this.  The stamp is 1993, so either the material came from an issued jacket or someone got the stamp on this after.

Here's what I think the uniform was patterned after. Note that it has hidden buttons, not the old Soviet style button through. Plus, no Soviet buttons should be seen on a Russian uniform
