MTP shirt as issued but sleeve pockets lower arm are more open. Blanking plates are enclosed with velcro and stitched. Nice surprise that the shirt came with a IR Union Jack.

Yeah they look very well made, i like the PCS style rankslide and the hood on the smock, i was actually looking at this picture just the other day and studying the chap on the lefts kit.

My question now is how many stages were there in total, and wheres the rest of them!

Thanks George, interesting pic! If the pics I have posted are stage 5 and is a hybrid of the old temperate smock with the new PCS smock, there must be a couple more levels to get to final end design, current issue PCS windproof?! Also, 2010, was PCS on issue or was MTP 95?

I think it's interesting about a year or so ago, there was massive release of PECOC kit which got snapped up albeit all the Desert DP pieces.. It seems there are still some unique bits floating round... I mailed Field Textiles to see if they had anymore in the pipeline and the reply I got was, as they get deliveries in, I presume from the military units across the UK, some times these items are mixed in... They are never guaranteed! So could be someone in the MOD was having a clear out or some Quartermaster found them and wanted rid?! Just my view..

Who knows where it all ended up, i recently found some dpm pecoc molle pouches in our stores which i shared on here if you remember, and they were just tucked away at the back of the room, we're a small medical reservist unit so why we have pecoc i have no idea! There has to be bits as you say just spread about that someone one day says to throw out, who knows.

Agree George, I think pieces will keep popping for years to come.. I think a good chunk of the rare pieces have been snapped up but saying that, I had never seen the patterns above or the Vest with sky blue you have... Who knows, they could have trialed colours which nobody has seen and they are stuck in some QMs back room!
