    Excellent finds!

I really like the velcro covers that come with these uniforms. It makes sense to both protect the velcro and also have it be camouflaged instead of a block of solid color.

Yes the uniforms are very nice. The cut is very cool and comfy, its interesting that there are some differences between the shirts. The velcro covers and the breast pockets are styled different.
Maybe the UK-guys  copied the velcro covers from the Slovaks.... Smile Laughing

    Thanks Ben,

This thing is built like a tank. 100% cotton like early M81s, but  a bit heavier.

Nice details all over. Nice small pocket on trousers, great ankle pockets as well. Like the ventilation holes at the crotch.
Very cool hidden inner chest pocket with clever zipper positioning on the top. Very well put together.

Another nice touch is the use of buttons throughout. No Velcro to close things. Just for patching. Not a fan of noisy Velcro used to fasten pockets and such.
Does use Velcro to fasten the collar, but not a bad compromise . Hope a lightweight  ripstop version becomes available one day.

This pattern will definitely disorient; stare at it for a few seconds Very Happy

I am glad you like it.

The woodland uniforms are made from 2 different fabrics. One is 50% cotton, 49% polyester and 1% Lycra/elastane blend and the second is 100% cotton.

The mixed one is more tough and the cotton one is more comfortable. Cotton one is for summer (or hot regions where desert colour is not appropriate). The cotton ones can fade very quickly. These are photos of one jacket I have just sold. It is faded probably from lower part of backpack.

Desert uniforms are all made from 100% cotton.

FYI: One urban legend claims that desert coulours on our desert uniforms were based on Counterstrike de_dust map. However I got it from one source from internet so I would say it is 50 to 50 chance it is true or bull***

Recently I asked in one Slovak Facebook group with focus on vz. 2007 camouflage about the different versions of the jacket. I got bad news. Nobody know anything more specific except the velcro panels on arm and straight/slanted pockets. But one guy claimed that he stopped counting different versions when he reached 8...

Well if you count different velcro panels, pockets and fabric used there could be quite a lot of versions (I am talking only about woodland colour):

    1) summer uniform - made from 100% cotton (not so common I have seen only one with straight pockets and square velcro)

all year uniforms in two different fabrics used

50% cotton, 49% polyester 1% elastane or 56% cotton, 43% polyester and 1% elastane which with all combinations should go like this:

    2) 50/49/1 straight pockets, square velcro
    3) 50/49/1 straight pockets, rectangular velcro
    4) 50/49/1 slanted pockets, square velcro
    5) 50/49/1 slanted pockets, rectangular velcro

    6) 56/43/1 straight pockets, square velcro
    7) 56/43/1 straight pockets, rectangular velcro
Cool 56/43/1 slanted pockets, square velcro
    9) 56/43/1 slanted pockets, rectangular velcro

    10) and the last uniform would be one made for army tests made from 50% aramid and 50 % lycra if I recall it correctly. It has quite different cut than issue items. I will post some photos later.

I will go through my photo archive to mark in bold which above versions I have seen because I am not sure if all these combinations do really exist. Also it would be nice if members would mark which version do they have, possibly also with the year from acceptance stamps if available.

The trial set is really interesting. Very different from current issue pieces, obviously.

Amazing number of variants to these beautiful uniforms; thanks for breaking down the differences..
