Just went on there. With over 15000 posts and over 2500 members it is good going for less than month. As I would of thought there would of been more posts if they done a complete transfer. Tried to log in however can't remember it as it has been that long.

I think it was shut down due to too many copyright lawsuit threats for posts of images.
I read the new mess site isn't a military photo site, rather a discussion site for military topics, I haven't visited to check though.

There were a lot of jerks on MilitaryPhotos.net. Rude people were the primary reason I stopped using that forum. Too many self-professed experts and snarky know it all teenage airsofters.
Maybe this new site will be better? Not sure, as I hadn't logged into that site for quite awhile to begin with.
