Pick this Serbian officers cap and 'Titovka' side cap up on a recent trip to Slovenia. The guy who sold it to me said these caps were used by Serbian militias in Croatia and Bosnia. I'm not sure if they were or are used by the Serbian Army.
These were used in Bosnia mainly but also in Croatia during the civil conflects between 1991-1995. These were not used by or issued to Serb troops of mainland serbia. only with Vojska Republika Srpska in Bosnia and VSK Vojska Srpska Krajina. Nice items, the last one isnt a titovka, its a sajkaca. Thanks.
Yes its a Serbian traditional hat worn by the chetniks and by the traditional serbs as a cultural headdress, but the military lizard stripe you have is a VRS wartime cap worn by Serb army in Bosnia during the 90s. Thanks for sharing!
