Asprey pouch question

I have a question about this osprey SA-80 pouch model 2006 , non equipped of molle fixations .
On which equipment are they designed to be fixed ?

Not sure, but maybe on equipment like this or a belt? it seems you have both possibilities.

But the pouches that I had, have different locks

The black plastic tabs on your pouch are like the older PLCE system. The tabs insert in the small slot/pockets that are on the body side of the belt, this stops any movement on the belt. id say the pouch is belt mounted in design, why? unknown but at a guest a way off carrying a small ammo load without having to put the body armour rig on.
