Slovenian Multicam/Slocam set

Just got this amazing slovenian set.

The smock is very cool. Functional design and lots of pockets. The pants are pretty much a ACU styled copy.
The velcro looks pretty much the same as the sort of velcro used by the French.
UFPRO also makes a lot of commercial stuff in slocam, so its nice to have some genuine army issued stuff.

Yeah, the cut is very cool. A bit similar to the first variant Felin T3 smock. But a lot better IMHO.
I even like the coloration more than the MC. The only minus is the quite heavy use of velcro. Especially the cargo pockets on the pants would have been better with buttons. But thats of course just a small issue.

Love the darker green and brown colors.

The use of velcro is just another cost cutting measure.
A real shame, because it makes the uniform less efficient.

The use of only velcro to secure cargo pockets, or any pocket ,on  combat uniforms  is IMHO ,ludicrous..

I bet this will be addressed at some point..

Yep, I also love the colors.

The velcro thing is maybe noticed in the future. But I already saw
on pics they have the same pretty fast and hard color-fading problems like the Croatians have/had
on their digi uniforms which faded quickly even after 1 wash.

Saluting soldier and at least another soldier are wearing blouses with no lower pockets..

Yep I also noted that. Guess the lower pockets aren't really usefull.....

Yeah, the 2 pocket type appears to be conventional ACU design. Good eyes!

I have one picture of a Slovene solder in what appears to be a standard US Multicam uniform. I can't remember where I got the picture from. Unfortunately no date.

Yup, that's the same picture I was thinking of! And yes, I am sure the US soldiers are thinking exactly that.

And to make it worse, I think if you look hard enough is the us army OEF OCP fr uniform. so they are wearing american army uniforms and the American couldnt

Yes the MC jacket is the OEF OCP. Well Slovenia issues its army with very cool stuff since they started with Slocam.
They also have a very nice looking softshell jacket and also an interesting looking gore tex jacket.

Finally I found one Slocam blouse from the newest variant, that means less velcro on the arm pockets no camo nametape and no camo slovenian army crest. Also the lower pockets are missing.

I recently got a patch haul for my older variants.

Just snagged my first pair of Slocam trousers. Very well put together kit and I really like the pattern. Now to track down a blouse or smock in this pattern.

I've been trying to find SLOCAM hats for my collection. Very difficult.

I've got the under armor shirt and trousers, so I'm in need of a few more things! Mylie, you now where I live so any time you have something to send I'm here to receive it

This cut is really nice and less complicated.. Must be much lighter without 4 lower pockets.

Great !! Now I have to find 2 types of Slocam blouses..

Its a pitty that all the slocam stuff is quite hard to find...But S. youre right, the new blouse-variant is much more usefull IMHO. As you can see on the upper pics from the Slovenian soldiers, the placement of the lower pockets looks quite useless and weird.
I'm glad they use less velcro now, on the smock the velcro gets always caught if you don't have everything patched up. But the smock stays the coolest slocam item if you ask me, except the softshell jacket maybe. But finding one of those....

I find it odd that they went with the lower pockets to start with, not surprised they dropped them. Practically they have very little function these days, which is why so many nations have dropped them. The Danes hang onto them stubbornly
