Re: Canteens and Field Gear
While I am here, here are a few other pieces. Has anyone ever come across an Israeli etool and/or carrier?
I am not sure if the suspenders are made from recycled ME Co parts, of if they are actually made for the IDF by Mills. After all, there is no sign of a broad arrow.

Great stuff - the markings on your small pack seem to confirm that Mills made this stuff directly for the IDF. I had never seen the correct shoulder straps before.

Thank you. That were my thoughts too, as I see this Pack.

Re: Canteens and Field Gear
I'm curious as to what the earliest dated webbing part anyone here has of the webbing like in Wolverine's pics.
The normal British type stuff (either reissued and/or made for them) was used before this type, along with some US and other WW2 stuff, like reworked German bayonets etc.

IDF small pack M37
Hello,
please could you tell me in what way the small/large pack M37 was attached to the rest of webbing? Where are hooks of L straps attached to the "H" shoulder straps?
Thank you for help

Re: Canteens and Field Gear
As I know they didn't attached them to the webbing itself. They use them only as sholuder Straps for the pack.
