new Bulgarian Army digital "flectarn" Uniforms for all Land forces branches - pictures

Yesterday during the 6th May "Bulgarian Army Day" celebrations I was able to take some pictures of the new Uniform worn by all Land force branches ... ( the woodland DPM ones will be phased out completely till the end of the year in all branches).

There is also a new grey digital variant being presented to the Air force units, since the grey DPM variant will also be phased out til EOY 2018.

Wow! I didn't know this was going to happen. It looks like a "pixelated" version of the actual and exact German Flecktarn, not an interpretation of it. Same colors by the looks of it. I presume a desert version is also in the works?

The uniform cut looks to be nearly identical to ACU. The differences I noticed are the same shoulder straps that are on the current uniform (pointed ends) and perhaps rounded corners on the leg pockets. Otherwise it looks the same.

I just added a hat in this pattern to my collection. Now I'm on the look out for the digi flecktarn and desert patterns.

PM me if you're after something in specific or simply complete uniform sets. Generally not too easy to find, however if you're not too keen on specific sizes, there should be a way on getting hands on something.

Honestly the air force camo looks horrible UCPish.....

When I first saw that picture I thought "damn, why is Bulgaria moving to UCP?".

Well, yes that's what I thought as well, when I first saw it. It is very UCP, not only in terms of camo print and colouration but also in terms of the cut itself. Luckily it is only the Airforce pattern and not the one for the whole of BG military forces, then the new army camo isn't really something special either. Being soem sort of digi (copy of german) flecktarn with an US Cut. Oh well, I personally want the Splinter back

Thanks Jimmy. Not necessarily my personal favourite, however the guys do look defo 21st century now. And I have tried a suit on, it fits perfect and is very comfortable I must admit.
