Unknown Magazine Belt

This belt is clearly patterned after a GI BAR magazine belt. I suspect, based on the hardware, canvas, and colour, that it may be Greek or Italian. I have seen at least one identical example with faked "ME Co 1944 - British Made" markings, so someone has tried to pass off postwar belts as a scarce wartime British-made item. This one has no markings.

I have seen, and own, other variants of Greek-made belts, but I am leaning toward Italy on this one. Any thoughts?

How about Korean maybe?

I can't say yes or no for certain, but I can't see any features that stand out as ROK.

I lean towards Italian.

My verdict now is Greek - I have recently purchased a 10-pocket cartridge belt out of Greece with the same snap fasteners and essentially similar webbing.
