"San Marco" jacket with liner and rank slide?

Recent got this jacket and liner and it included what I believe to be a rank slide with the insignia removed. Curious where to find insignia to restore it. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

This is a first type Marina Militare Jacket.

Cut similar to US BDU, but with slanted chest pockets and a more elaborate back.

These jackets came with blank rank insignia tabs like the one you show in your post .

Some operators had them embroidered with their rank. Most chose to just use blue dress uniform rank tabs .

Thanks a lot for the information. That explains a mystery for me. My horrible pic probably doesn't show it but there is slight ghosting and witness marks of a tab being sewn on.

I have a 2 [ chest ] pocket shirt in that pattern and love it as the colors are great for summer and fall in the woods! I'd love to have the 4 pocket jacket like you have!
