This is one of many, many two piece designs for Einsatzanzug used for riot duty. It is flame resistant for obvious reasons! Each state had their own and they changed them over time. This set is likely dated and it is probably from the late 1990s or early 2000s. They've been out of service for quite some time now. I've seen them popping up recently so I guess someone decided to stop paying for pointless storage
I agree with HEB it is similar to the one the Bundeswehr Feldjäger used for a while. I have a set somewhere. However, the color, weight, and tailoring is different from what I remember. Here's a picture, unfortunately with a vest over the jacket.
You can see that the BW pockets are pleated, whereas the NRW Polizei pockets are flat. The knee reinforcement is squared off for the BW, slanted for NRW. Etc.

Great set, and nice display pic there Steve!
I also have one of those jackets, I didn't know it was a female version, though the one I got certainly is very small, I bought it probably about 10 years ago, forgot to take a tag pic but I did note a 2005 production date on my filename.
It was also around the same time I bought one of those green Polizei "Sommerblusen" bomber style jackets for about $10 from Cheaper Than Dirt! Boy was I surprised to see them start selling for $100+ just a few years later!

NRW seem to use this model in early-mid 2000s. Older NRW model from 90s has zipper leg pockets, smaller chest pocket openings and not have the knee reinforcements, in late 2000s switched briefly to a similar model in dark green before adopted blue uniforms.

The difference between female and male is in the tailoring to accommodate the different body shapes. Generally it's impossible to tell the difference between the two unless the label specifies it. Even if you have two side by side it's tough to see the differences. I'm not just speaking about these uniforms, but others unless there's a distinct feature difference (e.g. BW female Dienstjacke have no chest pockets and other differences).
Note that there's quite a few variations of these uniforms, but the details are quite varied. The colors tended to be more towards olive than green, but as mentioned above there are also very dark green variants. Then there's the rank and tactical badging on the back. Soooooo many variations!
