That well known company wouldn't be the ARK of TIS? Strange that it isn't provisioned with chest pockets (normal or magazine) like most smocks of similar designs/intended uses.
Unless they're following the trend of some British troops of doing away with the chest pockets to facilitate wearing smocks under body armour, a fashion I'm not a subscriber to.

Chest pockets
I does have chest pockets, well hidden with zippers. I some ways , it is a throw back, in other ways it is up to date with modern design.

I meant external chest pockets, either bellowed types like on British smocks or magazine types like on Swiss Alpenflage smocks or the old Italian OD jackets. I did see the zippered ones.
There is a fad within the British forces though of removing the upper external chest pockets for wearing the smock under the VIRTUS body armour, mostly those who use the armour as a form of webbing fitting all manner of things to the front of it. Personally I keep my armour bare, other than sometimes having the hydration system clipped to the back, and wear it under my smock, if I'm wearing the smock at all.

I see zippers on either chest suggesting pockets are inside the jacket, but accessed from outside via these vertical zips.

As its following a somewhat British smock layout which has two zippered chest pockets and two external ones above the zippered ones, which since Osprey/Virtus came in some troops have taken to removing for the habit of wearing their armour above their smocks, and in some instances CBRN jackets, as they attach all manner of things to the front of their armour.
I'm still a subscriber of shirts/jackets lightweight under smocks over and everything you need being either in pockets, daysack and webbing/chest rig.

Fantastic find.
Bit silly IMO to wear armour on top of a smock, regardless of fads or fashion.
