The romanian uniform is kinda quirky which is why I like it, the shirt is entirely different fabric from pants jacket. And the shiny, non military looking buttons just make them stand out.

Heh... then mine is incomplete I've tried to get current and recent badging for my Romanian uniforms and it's proved difficult. At one point I had a decent Romanian contact and got some things from him, but badging... no luck. Anybody have a reliable source for things such as the Romanian flag arc, name tapes, etc?

Of the 20 or so gbs of pics my friend sent me from both his tours with Polish contingent, NONE of the Romanians were wearing anything other than rank, national tab name and perhaps blood type and flag. That's camp echo, but I believe these two romanian units the patches represent were in a different part of iraq. One unit relieved the other when their tour ended. I was thrilled to get these!

Very interesting pieces guys I didn't know that the Romanian Army used British Desert DPM, the badges are great.
