A few people have asked me latly about Just Cause and uniforms,
Here is a few pics leading just 2 days up to the invasion and a couple during the Coup.
These photos have never been publisjed and I have a few more I may post.
1st. This is my Platoon leader and Squad Sgt.
Note the Ranger tabs over the 6th ID patch. This was during the inital alert before we knew it was "the Night".
2nd is Hours before the Invasion when we was preping not knowing it was "Go Night"
I am the Joker on the left.
Later that night this vehicle took several hits knocking us around pretty good when we rolled thru a small ambush on the way to the Commandancia area.
3rd. is when we was coming back from Quary heights after the Coup attempt and was standing down.
4th is down time during the actual Invasion day 4.
Notice the M203 pillow and .50 cal foot rest.
5th is yours truly after the main part was over we did alot of patrols in the surronding bush outside of the city to look for abadoned equipment or munitions.
For you Navy lovers here is us preping for a alternate route in case bridges were down.
I think these were took at Rodman Naval Base but it has been awhile.
