Re: SPANISH LEGION SARGA uniform
Hi Steven. That´s the last model of sarga uniform used by Spanish Legión. Only one puntual thing, that blue tie is not used at all with that uniform.
That tie belongs to United Nations dotation for international missions, so not in reglamentary use for sarga uniform, only used in camo OTAN uniform at this moment.
Best regards

Re: SPANISH LEGION SARGA uniform
Hi Steven, the use of this kinf of sarga variation is decreasing with time. Old pattersn were used even for combat actions.
Here you can see a couple of photos of XII Bmandera Suceso Terreros (pre-BOEL) and BOEL wearing sarga uniforms in a parachoutist jump and a prisioners treatment
Actually field actions are always in camo patterns and the sarga is used in security guards (armed or not depending) and parades. Most of parades actually are with only pants and the sarga shirt. The use of the sarga can be with sarga shirt, the army t-shirt or the top neck pullover depending the internal orders of the Bandera or Brigade comandant or the station of the year.
Parade with sarga shirt
Parade with complete unifor, this usually was for internal parades (we used to present courtesy to our deads once a week, later it has come only once a month on saturday "Sábado legionario)
In parade was usually to use the called norwegian trouser (last time used I think it was in 1999, it was darker green and only used with sarga shirt
Here you can see the use of sarga with top neck pullover and shirt
Here one with nothing below
And one with t shirt and shirt
Hope to help, best
