Re: Gebirgsjäger cap
Nice cap, Philip! But, didn't the Austrians use an M-43 type of cap instead of this one before? I like this one would you like to trade one with me?

Re: Gebirgsjäger cap
Yes. These new style caps came with the KAZ03. I'll try to get one for our next trade.

Hi guys
I would like to ask you about cap badge. I have the same type of badge for Germany mountain troops. Looks the same to me,like Philip has

Re: Gebirgsjäger cap
I know. Seems the design for Austrian and German Edelweiss badges hasn't really changed since WWII.

Re: Gebirgsjäger cap
Nice one!
Yeah, it has also struck me as add that neither Austria or Germany has altered the design from WW2. I think it is like a game of chicken... each country is waiting to see if the other one blinks first

Re: Gebirgsjäger cap
I keep looking at this and not having seen an edelweiss in the raw, feel it look huge. Is the German one the same size as well as design ? I think the German ones look smaller ?
I do likey lots though !
