Theatre Made Desert Flag on Velcro

Hello,
This was a $3.49 score off of ebay. I wasn't aware it was theatre made until I got it in the mail. I realize that the threads are a little dark for Desert, but I'm positive it is desert because I've compared it to different flags of different colors. The velcro is also a clear desert color. It's been used, it's definitly not new. Enjoy.

What makes you say that? I do know that it came out of NC where the SOCOM and all of the USAF CC's are.

I swear I have seen Tan/Black on a USAF Desert Tan flightsuit before...I could be WAY off though

Possibly but I think they wore color flags. I'm thinking this was more for groundpounding SOF guys.

I was watching that new counter Piracy show on Spike, and I noticed one of the Helo pilots on the USS Gettysburg had a Black, tan and gray subdued flag on his flight suit.

The Blue Field for the stars was gray, the white stripes were tan and the red stripes were black.

So, non-issue flags are out there.

Here is a theater made desert US flag that was removed from a trashed out US Army DCU. It is cut edge and has the white material backing covering the threads on the back.

a few pictures of USAF PJs shows the desert flags as well; usually located beneath ZAP IR patches.
