I think these are current War-on-Terror issue; the Brits were still using the older style deserts in GW1 with the shoulder epaulets and button-down loops on the trousers, as the 95 system with stitched loops and front rank tab hadn't been introduced yet.
It's all good -- you got the better deal for sure!Easy Gee wrote:Hi Ben.
Thanks mate, that makes sense, the dealer informed me they were GW 1 issue, but I must admit I did think the kit looked like it was newer issued ,than that era ,he said go by the dates in the labels.....hmm,you live and learn....good job your on the ball mate![]()
I had to sort through hundreds of uniforms to find this lot badged up,and match them up....And the funny thing is the dealer, said that he did'nt realise that this lot, were still badged up ,because he would then sell them for more cash....Ha ,Ha I got a bargain...think he was a bit gutted.
Thanks again,i'm on a steep learning curve with Brit kit, which is ironic as I am a Brit....strange old world eh :

You also got lucky finding a badged set even after searching through... at my local surplus shop I can go all the way to the bottom of the big tub the combats are in and get lucky if I find one that still has any kinds of badges on it at all, let alone a matching set!
