Re: bond's storage method
Cool updates! Steven, one night I decided to stay up until 4am writing out some construction tips and considerations for collectors. I forgot to return to it and edit/add to it. I'll email you the working copy since it might be of some help now instead of after you do your project, when it won't be much help at all

Re: bond's storage method
Excellent job! And it didn't take very long to do either, did it? Now if I could just finish my project. Got the last pieces I need for it yesterday so my excuses are running a bit thin!
Oh, and I just have to say... unroll that MARPAT arm cuff man!! I'm not an OCD type, but I'm sure I'll freak out each time I look your picture if I don't know you've unrolled it Seriously, it's on my curator friend's list of no-nos. Articles need to be as relaxed as possible.
BTW, after my local guy here cut the wrong sized pipe for me I remembered that I'm an idiot about pipe diameters. I insist on measuring the outside diameter when everybody in the trade measures inside diameter. Therefore, when I asked for 1 1/4" pipe I got this massive ugly SOB which I have no use for. What I wanted was actually 1" for this project. Someday I'll smarten up and get it right, but when that will happen I don't know
