Vietnam dated JG uniforms

How rare or not are the pixie green uniforms getting in OZ at the moment?

Certainly much less common than the earlier and later straight pocket style shirts. More sought after too.

Funnily enough, when greens were 'in', they were next to impossible to find. When Auscams came in they sort of came out of the woodwork and although uncommon they were a little easier to find. These days even standard greens in decent sizes can be hard to obtain - remember, it's been just over 20 years that the greens were phased out. Nevertheless, the odd pixie shirt or pants can be sourced on EBay.au from time to time.

Theyre not as hard as the Kiwi versions to find, but in all honesty usually around $30 a pop for pixie shirts and dated trousers are about the same, I dont think they are as rare as they are made out to be, its just that when the whole vietnam war ANZAC airsoft craze started everyone wanted the pixie shirts and it pushed the price up and over night they became rare, Although they arent exactly common but still easy enough to find. Are you actually looking at getting a set?

Just managed to get me a set, a local cadet unit was funraising by selling off their old JG stocks so I managed to get a nice set of dated aussie pixies and a kiwi set as well, size 1 though! just big enough for my 5 year old LOL!.

hahaha nice one... were they just selling off the clothes or did they have any other gear?

Just the uniforms, alot of the slant pocket shirts all dated 1972.

Its a shame they didnt have any bigger sizes, how much did you end up paying for them?

Hi, just back in from the field, last Excersise of the year!, I paid about $5 for the shirt and the same for the trousers.
