Nice uniforms, the last one is weird, I was almost going to say its just a navy tape on the wrong side but it looks like the tape is cut so it follows the angle of the pocket?

Thats what i thought! The fabric, is the 2nd version DPDU, either the Australian Navy, or the blokes name is Navy?

Yeah Its a wierd one alright, Id say the blokes name must be Navy, because If it was a navy tape it would be made for the left pocket ....now to find one named to a guy called Army and your set LMAO

And Jens that patch looks like its just a subdued ANF on DPCU.Good to see you made it home safe n sound too Very Happy

its neat all right, got pissed off when i heard the australian army were issuing multicam. i personally love multicam, but i don't like how too many nations are adopting it, i can imagine the multicam would be as common as m81 woodland pattern, eventaully becoming an uninteresting pattern through sheer numbers of the pattern being used.

Love your collection Mate, very nice Cool

And I think you have a very valid point about Multicam,it's all gonna get a bit samey soon,Pre-Multi Cam world was better,in lots of ways,as at least at a glance you could work out the nationality of any given soldier/Marine etc...now every one looks the same...in a minute nations will be at war, and they'll all be wearing the same kit.....gonna get interesting for sure scratch

Anyway,as before Mate ..cool Oz cam Wink

    @ Easy Gee

talk about 'multi'cam, its also turning 'multi' national lool. About this all-terrain pattern, i reckon the multicam is more of a aridy/savannah/autumny sort of pattern, ive seen dozen or so photos of multicam/mtp users simply sticking out like dog bol**cks int the thick of the real tropical jungle. In my opinion, horses for courses.\

cheers, your collection's not too bad yourself, brit kit is very collectable these days, though i was hoping for a mtp which retained 100% of the dpm brushstroke pattern, would look wicked!

    @ benny

platatac has been steadily improving over the years, despite major critisms in the past. id prefer sticking to dpcu, not the mid-point crap (to me its just like their reinventing the wheel)

    Thanks Mate.

The collection is getting there Very Happy

Totally agree about the MTP..the DPM brushstrokes has all but gone.. Yeah I have a set but it's not all that really..bit disappointing really..I guess I got sucked in by the "newness" of it all..given the choice I would rather have spent all the cash on some old school DPM..for the price of an MTP Windproof Jacket..I could probably buy shed loads of Trops and 68 Pattern....enough to kit out a small Army of my own Laughing

Still, the Brit MTP seems to be much more beautiful than the standard US ones.
Mate, don't feel bad about the 'newness' factor, or else how do phone/tv/car companies survive if people don't get sucked in to 'new' stuff?

i love dpm in general, they look superb and professional compared to other patterns (cant beat DPCUs though)
From brits to indonesian, nz to oman, its just everywhere!
Old skool trops are dead sexy pieces!

Starting your own army eh? Mind if i be you second-in-command?

Mate,Good point about the newness factor, that's we all get sucked in,marketing hell!!!

I love all sorts of camo ,but I guess I will always have a soft spot, for old school DPM, especially now more than ever as we've gone all Multi-cam Wink

Oz kit is that bit more "exotic" though, and I will be be more than happy to sign you up,for my Army ,second in command will be cool Mate...I pay £5.82 an hour ( and all you can eat ) Laughing

I will give you a shout, when the "big one " kicks off, bring a load of your mates....the only catch is you and your mates will have to supply their own Land 125 kit,and it goes without saying...I'll need some too lol!
