Not too sure-dont think they are WW2 just identical post war made masks.
Like it as its a bit different what with the cloth cover on the tin.

Gulf91, this mask and tin are the first issued to the BW in 1955, and was used from that date until (Officially) 1959, when it was superseded by the next model. It was covered in cloth to reduce the noise/rattles when carried into battle, not that it ever was ! It resembled the previous Wehrmacht model, and if I remember correctly..... was a little taller. The manufacture date was on the spare lens lid, yours appears to be 1958. The mask was also made in this time period, and is not wartime made.
