Re: where to get PLA coats
Sportsman's Guide did have some of the PLA Tibetan flecktarn jackets for $25 apiece some time ago. Unsure if they were originals or commercial versions, but either way they sold out pretty quick... I'm not sure if they have restocked yet.

Re: where to get PLA coats
Try eBay seller:
metalsparkle_com
With him you have a Buy Now-option, you can contact him directly and buy at fixed price and finally I've recieved nothing but genuine uniforms in mint and unused condition.
From him I have a ERDL-style Singapore woodland and especially 2 sets TYPE 03 Plateau camo uniforms, that are definately not the reproduction type, which has a big, red PLA flag on the left shoulder and a yellow and black ribbon on the right.
These uniforms, the real deal, have sturdy zippers, larger PLA-marked buttons and the colours are darker and the pattern more crisp.
This Chinese dealer ships fast and returns questions immediately. I've only got positive experiences with the guy, and there is none of the 'too low to be true prices', jumpy bidding or cancelled auctions, that sometimes makes bidding on Chinese gear a sour task.

I know this frustration all too well!saltefanden wrote:...there is none of the 'too low to be true prices', jumpy bidding or cancelled auctions, that sometimes makes bidding on Chinese gear a sour task.
I have seen his auctions before but have never purchased anything from him; he does have some nice stuff though.

For Me the Ebay seller with entiling Honest- Honesty. It means the seller takes prompt response to your order. But doesn't mean seller is sending "real armystuff.
Still need you to take some time judging the stuff. Especially some Mainlanders in China.
