Some Ranger squadron gear. 90% of kit was US, Aussie or UK sourced as the Wars we were fighting then dictated our supply chain in SEA

Ditto - nice uber rare non-ripstop ERDL jacket. Very cool gear set-ups too. Small-point is that the green Aussie/NZ webbing has a post-war waterbottle cover (no stitching).

Re: KIWIS IN VIETNAM 65-71
My next door neighbour back in Auckland was RNZAF during Vietnam. Used to transport US troops in and out of hotspots - might have been for 173rd Airborne whom I know the NZ forces worked closely with - not sure. Memory fuzzy. A few stories, I tell ya! I remember in the 80's you could buy ERDL BDUs and Tigerstripes in NZ surplus stores real easy.

Killer shirts! Looks like the ERDL owner may have worked with the FANK, possibly as part of the AATTV contingent with the UITG - a rare piece indeed!

Re: KIWIS IN VIETNAM 65-71
Hi guys I need your help on something Im planning on doing a Vietnam Era RNZIR Airsoft loadout to go alogn with an M16 Im lookign at getting end of the year. I know the NZ soldiers used Jungle Greens and all but did the NZSAS use M16's in the Vietnam war ? Im planning on trying to get hold of some US Tiger Stripe to compensate for it . What do you guys think and How should I go about my loadout?
