Niemoller Battle Jacket authenticity?

Hi there all the Niemoller experts,

Just out of interest sake does anyone know if this is authentic? And if so what year was this issues as it looks a bit modern to be of the 80's, but i'm not sure so that's why i'm putting it out there. Thanks guys.

Legitimate item. Most likely from the 80's or early 90's. There are pictures of a woodland camo version of this vest in use in the Recce collector's book on pages 44 and 48, along with a full shot of the vest on page 247.

Not a problem. This vest follows the similar design of the hot extraction patrol vest, and a couple others. The early 80's vests tended to use the Pattern 70 metal ladder buckles, pebble grain snaps or Fixlock clips for the pocket flaps. By the late 80's and 90's they switched over to plastic ladder buckles or Fastex type clips.

Oh, and could a moderator shift this thread over into the South African section?
