My Selous Scouts beret Empty My Selous Scouts beret

Post by vintageproductions Sat Mar 17, 2012 8:42 pm

When I was taking photos of my Rhodesian grouping, that I had just posted, I ran across this beret.
This beret walked into a firends shop, years ago. When my friend grilled him about why or how he had the beret, the guy told his whole story, and then brought in the rest of his kit a couple of weeks later. Unfortunately, by the time I found out about it, all that was left was the beret. But, no matters as I am stoked to own it.

We had a gunshow this weekend and one of the vendors had a mint Rhodesian camo 'informers cape' - probably one of the weirdest camo items I've seen.

    O,

Sorry mate .. I didn't because the way our gun laws are down here, folks get real antsy when you start taking photos at gun shows Sad

I do know the vendor tho' and see if I can get one from him.

    Cheers,

    F.
