Theres showing pics of your items for others enjoyment and help IDing stuff etc and there is also just plain showing off-I have XXXXX amount of this etc and only paid a pound for them so there

Very salient points made guys, pics are where it's at I would agree, there are many members who brag they have a shed load of this and that, but very rarely take the time to post a pic or two...most frustrating
