Repro M7 bayonet... Empty Repro M7 bayonet...

Post by Easy Gee Fri Apr 20, 2012 6:17 am

Hi Guys, here I have a repro M7 Bayonet and Scabbard, I bought this one off the net, and sort of guessed it would be a fake, as it was very cheap, but was not 100% sure until it arrived through the post, did some research and discovered it was a fake...but I'm still happy with it, as it looks great on my Alice webbing collection...need the real deal one day, but until then I happy with this one.

Obviously there will be a lot of collectors here, who could spot the differences between genuine and repro from a mile away, but for the inexperienced collectors ( me for one scratch ) perhaps this post may help others not to get caught out like I did Smile

    Still looks good.

I fancy one of the repro long Garand bayonets but dont fancy paying the retail price so am hoping to find a used one.
