I have in my collection the white helmet cover with the orange band and DDR Emblem for military police. Does any one know how to get the darn thing to stay on a helmet? After a half hour of work I can get it to stay, but is slips off if I look at it wrong. I thought about soaking it in water, but since it appears to be polyester and made to be out in the weather, I didn't think it would work.

Re: DDR military police helmet Cover
Does it have hooks like the helmet net does, or is it elastic-ish like the strichtarn cover?
If it has hooks, the way I did my helmet net was to get a few clips on opposite sides, so that it stretches into roughly the right shape, and then fill in the rest. It takes a few tries to get it.
If it's elastic, I've found that having the net on underneath helps it stay on a bit better. Hope this helps.
