    My first DPM desert field jacket i bought very cheap from ebay only 6,50 GBP (shipping was more expensive!)new jacket incl: House hold division badge on right arm,Guards Blue Red Blue flash on the Right Arm,Velcro for fitting ISAF & other badges on both arms.

    Love it, the glint tape squares are cool too,IMHO I think these were one of the best bit's of kit issued back in the day...Brettle is/was a big dude!!!!

    Its a very nice designd jacket and nice thin cloth.i thought it would be thicker cloth.
    Too bad its a bit too big for me!

    Hi Mate,There has been some controversy regarding showing modern pieces that show the zap numbers, my tip Perhaps if you just put a piece of masking tape over the zap number next time,it will be a quick fix to cover the number, and will not be an issue!!

    And yes in pictures they do look quite thick material, but I agree the material is thin, but it is hard wearing!!!

    yes using a peice of black nasty to cover the service no before taking photos would do the job BTW if you need a new home for the smock let me know as it is just my size
