    Cannot find any markings/labels etc so take it its a commercial copy?

    I'd check the zips and the plastic buckles. Last I knew, Germany used "Nexus" buckles & "Opti" zippers.

    Its modeled after their older pack from the late 80s. In those there really aren't any indicators either.
