Czech helmet with Brit DPM covers??

Hi All.

Has anyone noticed that the surplus market seems to be awash with Czech Vz-53 helmets, fitted with British Desert GSmk 6 covers???

I have seen them featured on ebay,online surplus stores, and even my local surplus store ( which seems to stock all the usual fashionable items/crap/overpriced commercially available crap)

I suppose what has got me thinking is-

A-Has someone at the top of the surplus food chain, started a trend ,which seems to catching on ?

B- Did the Czech forces adopt the Brit Desert cover, and this is what is appearing on the surplus market ?
