This is my Bulgarian M72 steel helmet. It seems a derivative of the Italian M33 with a different interior. The shell its not as big as other contemporaneous helmets and sits a bit high in the head.

Very nice, I have one like this, to the untrained eye they could well be mistaken for the M33!

They are still quite affordable in Europe, I got mine in a batch of uniform pieces that I bought.

Excellent, and I agree they are one of the most affordable Helmets to buy, with the exception of Czech models which are so common and cheap it's unbelievable

What makes collecting helmets more expensive its the big postage costs. I also have one Czech helmet that its a bit strange, its the large shell size but with the small liner inside.

I could not agree more, high postage costs generally wipes out any purchases for me, I would be keen to see your other Helmet too

Very cool, the four point VZ 53 chinstrap version is not so common, this as far as I know was the precursor to the VZ53/80 with the green nylon four point chinstrap.
There was a model used for fire services too, with a four point chinstrap.
Thanks for showing,great contribution.
Gary.
